Fold3 Offering World War II Records Through May 31st for FREE

The Fold3.com blog announced that, in honor of Memorial Day, registered users can access the World War II collection for FREE through 31 May.  There is a link on the blog to the World War II collection at http://go.fold3.com/wwii/.

There are 36 collections on that list, and some of them are more extensive than just Wotld War II.

You can access the list of all collections at Fold3 by going to the Browse page (http://www.fold3.com/browse.php), and selecting a category.  By clicking on the World War II category, you can see the record collections in that category:


If you click on one of the publications, then you can see the list of way-points that are available.  I clicked on the Navy Cruise Books" publication and saw:


clicking on the "H" Ship letter in the Navy Cruise Books publication, I can see the list of ships for which there are Cruise Books available:



You may be able to find some interesting records and photographs if you go and search or browse some of these collection.
