Ancestry Academy Added New Premium and Free Classes

   I received this information from Ancestry Academy recently:

Go back to school with Ancestry Academy! We published lots of new courses over the summer, both full length and our new shorter videos.

Our recently added full-length courses include:

*  Four new states in our premium lineup: Massachusetts, Michigan, Vermont, and Illinois

*  "The City Directory: Your Guide to the Past"

*  "Finding Your Revolutionary War Ancestor: Warrior or Patriot"

*  "Hidden Treasures on Ancestry," a free course from perennial favorite Juliana Szucs

If you’re strapped for time, you can check out one or more lessons within the longer courses and save the rest for later, or turn to the Short Course Videos here.

Among our newest short courses are

*  Additional census videos

*  Videos covering vital records (births, marriages, deaths)

*  A video on U.S. passports

All of the most recently added courses can be found here. There's something for everyone at Ancestry Academy. You're sure to learn something new every time you visit!

I also noticed that there is an Ancestry Academy mobile app for iOS and Android smart phones and tablets.  A user can watch Ancestry Academy classes any place they have wifi or cell service.

I recently watched several segments of the U.S. Passports class on my iPhone while waiting in the car for my wife to finish shopping.

Ancestry Academy has many FREE full length and short courses for information about Ancestry products.  The Premium classes are for presentations by experts in the field on genealogy and family history topics.
