(Yes it is written in Dutch.) There is no information on Abigail's birth nor who was her mother -- yet.<br /><br />The other Thomas Ballou who married Ann Amie was in Belgium not Holland/The Netherlands and both were dead prior to John and Abigail's marriage in 1622. So they can not be one and the same.<br /><br />It is good to read any article on Dunham in The American Genelaogist (TAG) as that is where most of the corrections to old/misguided research (of any surname) can be found.<br /><br />I descend from John and Abigial's son Jonathan. (Not to be confused with John and Susanna's son John.
