Since we were never able to meet our grandfather, it was wonderful reading about him. The 40 page booklet is illustrated with photos from throughout his life. I will treasure this forever!Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01134502777800553682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-420225296369036442009-12-26T20:58:12.958-08:002009-12-26T20:58:12.958-08:00Randy,

I bought myself a subscription to Michael John Neill's CASEFILE CLUES and the 20 back issues. I also bought FamViewer, an iPhone genealogy application. I also bought the "Daughter of Deceit" the third book in the Family Tree Mysteries series for the Kindle app on my iPhone. A terrific Christmas and just what I wanted!!!
DebbieDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05362011861463622240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-32310407840406090602009-12-26T20:05:35.453-08:002009-12-26T20:05:35.453-08:00Hi Randy,

Never know when this might come in handy at the library or archives! I blogged about choosing the iPhone genealogy apps at my webpage. http://www.luxegen.ca
-Cheers,
Joan MillerJoan Millerhttp://www.library.canoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-14529796217440229372009-12-26T13:49:59.057-08:002009-12-26T13:49:59.057-08:00Recently I posted a 1955 recorded Christmas messag...Recently I posted a 1955 recorded Christmas message from my Auntie to her husband. It was on a 78 rpm record which my nephew converted to a digital file for me. Yesterday he gave me the USB turntable that was used to accomplish this feat.

When my cousin Cheryl (Two Sides of the Ocean) read my post, she remembered that she has some old 78 rpm recordings made by her family. Now I'm hoping we'll be able to digitize those too.

Any other GeneaBloggers have family recordings on 78 rpm records that they'd like to have digitized? I'm willing to give it a try!TKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14556045553534725632noreply@blogger.com
