He is my 10th...I descend from Richard Norman, too. He is my 10th great grandfather. I descend from his daughter Alice, who married William Allen in 1629, Salem; and from son John who married Arabella Baldwin, also about 1629. John lived in Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts and his descendants lived near the "Norman's Woe" which is near the Manchester/Gloucester border but was more famous because Longfellow made it the scene of his "Wreck of the Hesperus".
