Enjoyed reading your memory lane of work hi...Randy,
Enjoyed reading your memory lane of work history. I basically worked at only one job as well. I was desperately looking for a change the first year out of college and got the offer for a train operator job at BART. 32 good years there before retirement in 2010. Now I enjoy my "work" in all aspects of genealogy--research, writing, volunteering, etc.Lisa S. I enjoyed wandering with you down your memory lane this Labor Day...although I have to say, I'm not sure I'd include the reading of Roots in that "Happen in a Second" category ;)Jacqi Stevenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471698670217119444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-91489883384949116062014-09-01T13:21:51.575-07:002014-09-01T13:21:51.575-07:00I should write down your saying, as I have a lot o...I should write down your saying, as I have a lot of explaining to do too! I said yes in the early 70's to my German professor to be part of a new language experiment and left France for Germany. I picked the town on the map, close to my home in Lorraine in case I got home sick!!! That town was full of GI's and you guessed it: I met one, married him and I have been all over the U.S. and Europe following that Army officer. Where would I be now, if I had not chosen to step out of the box when I was barely twenty???? Thanks for the memories!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14622957456021938836noreply@blogger.com
