Sail from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean in April 2021 



GenFriends, Pirates, and AncestArrrrrrghs cruise will set sail April 4-11, 2021, from the Port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We will be sailing on Princess Cruises Caribbean Princess, with stops in Princess Cays; Falmouth, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico; and returning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Genealogists Cheri Hudson Passey, Laura Hedgecock, Daniel Earl and David Allen Lambert will provide educational presentations and consultations.

PRESENTERS 

The genealogy program presenters for the GenFriends, Pirates, and AncestArrrrrrghs cruise each specialize in family history research and storytelling, providing a broad spectrum of genealogy information that will enhance your enhance your ability to make genealogical discoveries. 

David Allen Lambert is the Chief Genealogist for the New England Historic Genealogical Society and American Ancestors since 1993. He is an international speaker on a variety of genealogical topics including New England, Atlantic Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland and military research. He is an author of several books on genealogical and local history topics. He is also the cohost of Extreme Genes Family History Radio Show and podcast. David has published many articles in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, the New Hampshire Genealogical Record, Rhode Island Roots, The Mayflower Descendant, and American Ancestors magazine. He has also published A Guide to Massachusetts Cemeteries (NEHGS, 2009). 

Cheri Hudson Passey is a Professional Genealogist, Instructor, Writer, and Speaker and the owner of Carolina Girl Genealogy, LLC. Cheri is the host of the genealogy chat show GenFriends on YouTube and is a genealogical researcher, subcontracted by Eagle Investigative Services, Inc., for the US Army Past Conflict Repatriations Branch. 

Laura Hedgecock is an author, speaker, freelance writer and GeneaBlogger passionate about helping others tell stories which connect loved ones with their family and ancestry. 

Her book, Memories of Me: A Complete Guide To Telling and Sharing the Stories of Your Life, guides and empowers memory collectors with down-to-earth, practical advice and creative ideas. Her website, Treasure Chest of Memories <https://treasurechestofmemories.com> provides pragmatic advice on preserving and sharing memories and family stories. 

Laura serves as President of the 3400+ member GeneaBloggers organization and is a member of APG, NGS, Genealogical Speakers Guild, Toastmasters, and Detroit Working Writers. She authored Blogging For Family History, which provides a road map for launching a blog and making it successful. 

Daniel Earl is a professional genealogist and speaker and host of the Vivid-Pix 'Round Tuit" Webinar Series. He has over twenty-five years of experience researching his family history and helping others make history a part of their story. He lives in central Michigan with his wife and six children. He is also a published author and substitute teacher. 

Once registered for the cruise, an additional fee of $149 (non-refundable) which will cover all presentations and handouts. This will be due by September 1st.
