============================================

I was excited about this announcement because I had only 15 Theory of Family Relativity matches the first time they released this in March 2019, but 5 were wrong IMHO;  The next time they released it in July 2019, I had 12 TOFR, of which 2 were wrong IMHO;  The third time they released it in May 2020, the 2 wrong ones were gone, and one that was right went missing (even though the match was still in my match list and had not changed their tree), leaving a total of 9.

With high expectations today that MyHeritageDNA had found 64% more TOFR matches for me this time around, I looked at the list - there might be 5 or 6 more!  8?  Only EIGHT?  I had those eight before.  Which TOFR was deleted this time around?

Fortunately, I have made some Notes on my matches and will go look for the one that went missing from the TOFR list.  I wonder why this happens?  Did someone change their tree?

Disclosure:  I receive a complimentary subscription to MyHeritage, and gave received other material consideration in past years.  I uploaded my autosomal DNA raw data to their DNA product.  This does not affect my objective analysis of MyHeritage products.

Well I did have theories before the first update, after all my theories disappeared and I have none. My mother still had theories after the first update and now after this update they're all gone. So their update is terrible and worthless to me.

It's too interesting ... thanks for sharing this information! We will thus be able to complete our family trees and put an end to the missing people from our family tree.

I don't know if you changed or replaced your tree, but I originally had a small family tree with just my direct ancestors. After attending a My Heritage webinar, I decided to upload my whole family tree. I downloaded a gedcom from Roots Magic and uploaded it to My Heritage.
I contacted them about my Theories of Relativity which all disappeared (I think I had 6) and apparently because I had deleted my original (small) family tree and uploaded a new (big) one, my Theories were all wiped out. They said that is the way it works. They are working to try and find a way around this, but as of now if you delete and upload a new tree you are out of luck!
