* Thomas Richmond - born 1848 in Hilperton, Wiltshire, died 1917 in Clinton, Mass.
Married in 1868 in Killingly, Conn. to Julie E. White - born in 1848 in Killingly, Conn., died 1913 in Putnam, conn.

Married 1887 in Wano, Kansas to Abbie Ardell Smith - born 1862 in Rolling Prairie, Wis., died 1944 in San Diego, Calif.

Five of my eight great-grandparents, born between 1848 and 1868, moved west during their lifetimes. My father came west in 1940 to San Diego. Three of my 2nd great-grands came from England to America in the 1830s and 1850s. My 2nd great-grands Carringer and Smith moved west also, and three ended up in San Diego in the 1880s.
Here are the locations for the B M D on my great-grandparents

ReplyDeleteSorry, this comment has nothing to do with your topic, but I am new here and a real rookie. I want to use your method for searching Ancestry’s data bases using your programming string. It requires that I know my Ancestry tree number. I’ve looked all over Ancestry for it but can’t find it. Please tell me where to look for it. Thank you. Kathryn.
