Linda and the Cable Car in 2004 -- Post 700 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

In early September 2004, we drove north to the San Francisco Bay area to celebrate the first birthday of our first grandchild, Lucas, in the Santa Cruz area.  Linda wanted to visit her favorite places in San Francisco too, so we spent a fun day being tourists.

This is Linda before she got on the cable car in downtown San Francisco.  She has so many memories of riding the buses, trolleys and cable cars from her childhood, school and college days.

Doesn't she look spiffy? What was the occasion?

I think we were going up to daughter Lori's husband's family in Petaluma for dinner and the birthday party. Or going up to Linda's brother's house in Monte Rio to visit them. I have lots of photos from this time, but they aren't time-stamped.
