Regarding the response to the “Ancestor Worship” article in the New Yorker - thanks to the APG for setting the record straight. A Facebook friend sent me a link to the article. I expect it was because I often post information and stories and photos I uncover about my family as part of my genealogical research. I asked her what her takeaway was from the article and she replied “interesting” which I took as an indication she hadn’t read it herself and simply sent it to me as perhaps a snide dig at my retirement vocation. I responded in a similar vein to the APG response. People should really do a little research before assuming our intentions. Thanks! Susanne Paradis
