I have several people who were born in New York State; their record says NY, and the map put them in NY County (Manhattan). Also, use of postal codes can cause errors in mapping (which is my fault, not theirs) I.e., IN means Indiana to me but shows up as the country of India. And Galicia (in Poland) is plotted to be in northwestern Spain.
