The qualifications for membership in the new organization arise only from diplomas or other accreditation from certain UK universities. That is unfortunate as I think the idea would have interest and merit if applied internationally. I have suggested to many people recently that, at least in Canada, we could benefit with a more nationally-oriented journal as most local societies have great difficulty in sourcing content and covering costs. The may also be true of US groups.
