My guess is that it would be in the 100,000 range.

Yes, the "ancestral Ancestry Member Tree" is the one with everything in it - ancestral families, one name studies, etc. I keep it all in one because of the significant overlap between ancestral families and one-name families. I don't want to add info in more than one database.

There is a way to segment only ancestral families in RootsMagic, and descendants of a person, but not "all Seaver" persons unless you go through a list of persons and check the ones you want.

Randy Seaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17477703429102065294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-23265457113880579492018-01-03T04:38:36.292-08:002018-01-03T04:38:36.292-08:00Randy-

A few questions.
- You mention your "Ancestral Ancestry Member Tree" that you've uploaded to Ancestry. Is that the full 49,000 or just direct lines? If direct lines, is there an easy way to segment that using Roots Magic?
- On the one name study surnames - is that a separate Roots Magic tree, or is there a handy way to segment e.g. just the Carringer family?

Thanks,
Bill Greggs
bgreggs@gmail.comBillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10241044841880129994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26204193.post-90109598158978938132018-01-02T11:54:11.920-08:002018-01-02T11:54:11.920-08:00Those are some amazing numbers!
