SDGS Having a Big Library Sale on September 6th to 8th

The San Diego Genealogical Society (SDGS) is having a big sale of genealogy books, furniture, equipment and maps this weekend.

The SDGS genealogical library has been incorporated into the San Diego Central Library in downtown San Diego, and the combined genealogical and local history collection will occupy the 9th floor of the newly built library, which will open to the public on 28 September 2013.  The SDGS is selling the remaining books and furniture in preparation for leaving their facility in 2014. The facility will continue hosting classes and meetings until then.

The Big Library Sale

    For sale: furniture, furnishings, equipment, maps & books.

All books are half (1/2) price.

Of special interest are the Aetnastak Steel Library Bookstacks.  We have both single and double sided in excellent condition.  Size: 78”H x 36”W x 24”D with base and 10 shelves.

    When:                Members Only – Friday, September 6th (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Open to the Public – September 7th & 8th (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
