Tuesday's Tip: Listen to the Extreme Genes Podcast and Visit the Website

This week's Tuesday's Tip is:  Check out Scott Fisher's Extreme Genes Podcast and Website (http://extremegenes.com/).

The "About Fisher" page on the website tells us about him:

"Extreme Genes is a natural for Fisher, a Connecticut native, who has been in radio since his youth, and has spent three decades of spare time as a passionate 'roots sleuth.'  A long-time morning show host, Fisher is the author of New York City Methodist Marriages, 1785-1893, Picton Press, 1994.  He has also been published in the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society Journal (April 2004), and Catholic Ancestor, Journal of the Catholic Family History Society of England (June 1996).  His ten books on the families of both his and his wife’s ancestors, written over 25 years, fill the better part of a shelf in Fisher’s family room library. - See more at: http://extremegenes.com/about-fisher/"

The major feature of Extreme Genes is the weekly Podcast - Fisher is up to 76 episodes.  The 76th episode features highlights from RootsTech 2015, family history news, and an interview with Dick Eastman about RootsTech and the future of genealogy in 53 minutes:

Fisher also writes a blog (click on the "News" link - http://extremegenes.com/category/news-archives/):

Fisher's Extreme Genes podcast is interesting, professionally announced and produced, and is fun to listen to on a weekly basis.  At RootsTech, he told me that his radio show is now on 24 broadcast radio stations, but his website doesn't list the stations and days/times broadcast.
