San Diego Genealogical Society Meeting on Saturday, 8 October 2016

The October program meeting of the San Diego Genealogical Society (SDGS) is this Saturday, 8 October 2016 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (8350 Lake Murray Blvd., just south of Jackson Drive).


The speaker programs are:

*  10 a.m.:  "What is SAR including Resources for Finding your Revolutionary War Ancestor And Requirements for Filing a SAR Application?" -- presented by Ray Raser.

*  11:15 a.m.:  "Daughters of the American Revolution – A Great Resource in Your Revolutionary War Research & Documentation Standards for Joining." -- presented by Simran K Noon. 

There will be a refreshment break and a short business meeting between the two programs.

There are two classes at 9 a.m. in the upstairs classrooms:

*  "DNA Series: Third Party Tools' -- presented by Kathy Fernandes

*  "How to Design and Manage a Blog" -- presented by Diane Gould Hall
