I looked in the FamilySearch Catalog for Tuolumne County, California, and identified FHL Microfilm 1,305,265 which probably includes the actual marriage certificate.  The records have been microfilmed and indexed, but the indexed record is unavailable at present on FamilySearch.  I can view the digital microfilm at a FamilySearch Library.  I put it on my to-do list.

Elijah Pickrell McKnew (1836-1912) and Jane Whittle (1847-1921) are my wife's great-grandparents.
