Surname Saturday -- CURTIS (England to colonial Massachusetts)

It's Surname Saturday, and I'm "counting down" my Ancestral Name List each week.

I am working in the 9th great-grandmothers by Ahnentafel number, and I am up to Ancestor #2227 who is Sarah CURTIS (1627-1676). [Note: the more recent ancestral families have been covered in earlier posts.]

2227.  Sarah Curtis, born before 05 August 1627 in Nazeing, Essex, England; died 29 November 1676 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States.

4455.  Sarah Eliot, born before 13 January 1600 in Nazeing, Essex, England; died 27 March 1673 in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.  She was the daughter of 8910. Bennet Eliot and 8911. Lettice Alger.
