John Horton (1696-1796) and Mary Chase (1694-1735) are my 6th great-grandparents. John Horton was the son of John and Mehitable (Garnsey) Horton of Rehoboth, Mass. Mary Chase was the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Follansbee) Chase of Newbury, Mass. They married in 1719 in Swansea, Mass., and had 5 children, including Nathaniel Horton (1730-1819), my 5th great-grandfather, who married Sarah Pray (1734-1820) in 1753.
