The biography and descendants of John Wilson, who eventually settled in Woburn, Massachusetts, is provided by the book Wilsons From New England, Volume ""J - Descendants of John Wilson of Woburn, Massachusetts, by Ken Stevens, published in 1991[1].
John Wilson was born 3 January 1673 in Woburn, Massachusetts, the son of John and Johanna (Carter) Wilson[1-2]. The Wilson family bought land in Billerica in about 1682.
He married Elizabeth Foster on 27 October 1694 in Billerica, Massachusetts[1.3]. She was the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Gorton) Foster of Billerica, Massachusetts.
They had 13 children, all born and recorded in the Billerica town vital record book:
* John Wilson (1695-1764), married 1722 Jemima Shed (1698-1740).
* Elizabeth Wilson (1697-1786), married 1721 William Frost (1694-1738).
* Joseph Wilson (1699-????), married 1732 Sarah Wilson (1694-1763).
* Joanna Wilson (1702-1786), married 1723 Hezekiah Sawtell (1703-1779).
* Alice Wilson (1703-1756), married 1724 Isaac Stearns (1700-1739).

John and Elizabeth Willson made an agreement with Elizabeth's brother, Joseph Foster, on 21 December 1721 that better defined the real property that she was to receive from the estate of her father, also Joseph Foster[4].
There is no apparent death record for John Wilson. He died after 21 December 1721. There is no apparent probate record for John Wilson of Billerica.
There is a Find A Grave memorial for John Wilson but it lists his death as 1 June 1715, six years before he signed the agreement.
