The "Maid of the Mist" Tour Boat Near Niagara Falls -- Post 695 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

The next stop on our May 2004 vacation was Niagara Falls.  It was a dreary day but we braved the mist and the showers for the classic photo of the Maid of the Mist tourist boat near the falls.  We took the boat tour but the pictures didn't turn out well.

The trip:  In May 2004, we flew east to celebrate my cousin's 50th wedding anniversary in Easton, Pennsylvania, and then did some sightseeing and genealogy research in New Jersey, New York, Ontario and Pennsylvania.  This is the only time I've been to these states to do research, and it was fascinating and fruitful and fun.
