Added and Updated Ancestry.com Record Collections - Week of 8 to 14 March 2025

The following genealogy record collections were added to the Ancestry.com Card Catalog page by Date Updated during the period from 8 to 14 March 2025:


The ADDED and Updated collections include:

  • Illinois, U.S., Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield Sacramental Records, 1853-1981; 1,402,318 indexed records with record images, Updated 3/13/2025.  This collection contains records of baptisms, confirmations, marriages, and burials from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield spanning the years of 1853-1975.
  • Providence, Rhode Island, U.S. Old Stone Bank Records, 1844-1924; 469,684 indexed records with record images, ADDED 3/13/2025. This collection contains records from the Providence Bank for Savings (commonly known as The Old Stone Bank) in Providence, Rhode Island, dated between 1844 and 1897. 
  • Geneanet Community Trees Index; 1,823,460,231 indexed records without record images, Updated 3/13/2025.  This collection contains an index of more than 2 million family trees created by members of Geneanet, the #1 genealogy site in France and the biggest community of genealogists in Europe.

By my count, there were 15 NEW record collections ADDED this past week, per the list above.  There are now 33,754 collections available as of 14 March, an  INCREASE of 15 from last week.
