I found another priceless (to me) photograph in my computer file folders:
This photograph is of Betty Virginia Carringer (1919-2002) and her male friend sitting on the front steps of the Carringer home at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego, California. I think Betty is 3 or 4 years old in this photgraph, so it is probably dated around 1923 or 1924. It appears that she is showing her friend something in a book - perhaps a picture. The photo was probably taken by Betty's father, Lyle Carringer in whose photo collection I found this photograph.
This may be the start of my mother's teaching career of which I, unwittingly for some of my life, am a beneficiary.

What a charming photo! The colorization is very nicely done.
