This week's document for transcription is the 1745 Deed of Benjamin Wing of Dartmouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony selling two acres and 72 rods of salt meadow land in Dartmouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Job Case of Dartmouth for £50 in old tenor bills of credit.

To all people to whome these presents shall come Greeting & Know ye
That I Benjamin Wing of ye Town of Dartmouth in ye County of Bristol within
his majesties Province of ye Massachusetts Bay so called in new England Yeoman
for and in Consideration of ye sum of fifty pounds old Tenor to be understood good
Bills of publick in New England to me in hand before ye Ensealing hereof well &
Truly paid by Job Case of Dartmouth in ye County of Bristol afforesd, Yeoman
the recept whereof I do hereby acknowledge my selfe fully satisfied and contented
and Thereof and of every part and percell there of Do Exonerate acquit & Discharge
ye said Job Chase his heirs Exer's & Admr's forever by these presents Have given
granted Bargained sold aliened Conveyd and confirmed & by these presents Do freely
fully and absolutly give grant Bargain sell aliene Convey and Confirm unto
him ye s'd. Job Case his heirs & assigns forever, a certain peice percell or tract
of salt meadow scituate Lying and being on ye flat that lies on ye north side
of ye flat That Lies on ye north side of ye Rock that lies on ye northward side of
ye Ram Island and against ye north End of ye ship Rock flat cluding all ye
whole flatt containing Two acres & seventy Two Rods of meadow as it is laid out
and Qualified be it more or Less butted & Bounded as followeth Bounded on all
parts by ye water & Barr flatts: To Have and to hold ye s'd. Granted and Bar-
gained premises with ye appurtances foreveledges to ye same belonging or in any
wise appertaining to him ye sd. Job Case his heirs & assigns forever to his & there
only proper use Benifitt & behoof forever & I ye sd. Benjamin Wing for myself
my heirs Exer's & admr's Do Covenant promis and grant to & with him ye Sd. Job Case
his heirs & assigns that before ye Ensealing hereof I am ye true sole & Lawfull owner
of ye above Bargained premises have in my self good Right full power and Lawfull
authority to grant Bargain sell convey & confirm to Bargained premises in manner
as above said and that ye sd. Job Case his heirs and assigns shall and may from
time to time & at all Times forever hereafter by force and vertue of these presents
Lawfully Have hold use poses occupie & Enjoy use Bargained Premises with ye appur-
tances free and Clear. Furthermore I ye sd Benjamin Wing for myself my
heirs Exer's & admr's Do Covenant and Engage ye above Demised premises to him ye said
Job Case his heirs and assigns against ye Lawfull Claims or Demands of any Person

By this record it appears that Benjamin Wing sold 2 acres and 72 rods of salt meadow in Dartmouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Job Case for 50 pounds.
Benjamin Wing (1698-1782) married (1) Content Tucker (1695-1739) in 1722 and they had five children; he married (2) Rhoda Rogers (1713-1758) in 1739 and they had five children; (3) he married Mary Devol (1705-1798) and they had no children. Benjamin and Content (Tucker) Wing are my 6th great-grandparents through their daughter Abigail Wing (1734-1806) who married Jonathan White (1732-1804) in 1756.
