It's Saturday Night again -
time for some more Genealogy Fun!!
Here is your assignment, should you decide to accept it (you ARE reading this, so I assume that you really want to play along - cue the Mission Impossible music!):
1) Check out Lisa Alzo's "Fearless Females 2021" blog post prompts and write about one of them.
2) Put it in your own blog post, in a comment to this post, or in a Facebook post. Please leave a link in a comment to this post.
Here's mine:
1) I chose today, 6 March, which reads:
"March 6 — Describe an heirloom you may have inherited from a female ancestor (wedding ring or other jewelry, china, clothing, etc.). If you don’t have any, then write about a specific object you remember from your mother or grandmother, or aunt (a scarf, a hat, cooking utensil, furniture, etc.)"
2) I have a number of copper enamel art pieces that my mother created from about 1970 until 2000. She gave many of them to her three sons and four granddaughters as Christmas, birthday and wedding gifts. When she died in 2002, my brothers and I divided the remaining pieces among us and proudly display them in our homes. They are treasures without price. Our living room is the "Betty (Carringer) Seaver room." Here are some photos:

Our daughters have their own collections of their Christmas and birthday pieces displayed on the walls of their homes. They remember their "Nana" and the art experiences they shared with her.
