Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- Carrie Ann's Meme

Hey genea-folks,
it's Saturday Night again,

 time for more Genealogy Fun!

Your mission this week, should you decide to accept it, is to:

1)  On Facebook, Carrie Ann Smith posted a meme earlier this week and I thought it might be fun for SNGF (Thank you, Carrie Ann!).

2)  Copy the questions below, delete my answers, and put your own answers in.

3)  Post the questions and answers on your own blog, in a comment to this blog, or in a Facebook or Google+ post.  Be sure to leave al ink to your blog post in my blog post.

Here are the choices:

1. Who are you named after?  I was named Randall Jeffrey, after nobody that I know of.  I was almost named Ranny after my 2nd grandfather Ranslow Smith (1805-1873), according to my mother.

2. Last time you cried?  When my sweet grandmother, Emily (Auble) Carringer, died in 1977.  I get misty every once in awhile reading or watching something sad or inspiring on TV or on Facebook.

3. Soda or water?  Water.  I dislike carbonated beverages, except for orange crush.

4. What's your favorite kind of pizza?  Pepperoni!!!

5. Favorite Flower?  I love red roses. I get two dozen at Costco for Linda for her birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

6. Roller Coaster?  Once in awhile.  I dislike going upside down.

7. Favorite Ice cream?  Chocolate chip, but mint chip and Rocky Road are good too.

8. Favorite book?  Catch 22?  Any Lee Child book.

9. Shorts or jeans?   Shorts.  Not often - usually long grey pants.  I don't wear jeans.

10. What are you listening to right now?  AM Radio - Sean Hannity show.

11. Favorite color?  Turquoise

12. Tattoos?   Nope.  Not me - I avoid pain and body art.

13. Favorite thing to eat?  Spaghetti and meatballs?  Pizza?  Ice cream?  Doughnuts.

14. Android or iPhone?  iPhone.  I do have an Android tablet.

15. Favorite holiday?  Christmas.  I get to see the daughters and grandchildren enjoying gifts and playing with them, and me.

16. Night owl or mornings?  Both - early to rise, late to bed, sleepy around midday.

17. Fave day of the week?  Genealogy search/research day!!  Mondays?  Has Mondays with Myrt, blogging, search/research, database work, etc.

18. Favorite Season?  Spring!  There are baseball or football games to take up my genealogy time.

19. Favorite Sport?  Baseball and football.  I enjoy the strategy and prowess of pitchers, fielders, batters, quarterbacks, receivers, etc.

20. Mountains, Beach, Forest or snow?  Beach.  San Diego, duh!  We do have mountains and forests only 30 miles away, and they get snow in the winter.  We don't go to the snow, though.
