(Not So) Wordless Wednesday - Post 258: Little Ed Seaver on the Rocks

I'm posting family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they aren't Wordless Wednesday posts like others do - I am incapable of having a wordless post.

Here is a photograph from the Seaver/Richmond family photograph collection passed to me by my cousin Laura in 2008:

I cropped the picture that Laura sent me - the album had "Edward Seaver" written below the picture.  Edward Richmond Seaver was born  in 1913, and the boy in the photograph looks to be 3 or 4 years old, so this was probably taken in 1916 or 1917.  The setting is unknown, but it may have been in or near Leominster, Massachusetts, where the Seaver family resided at that time.

Edward Richmond Seaver (1913-2004) was the son of Frederick Walton Seaver (1876-1942) and Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver (1882-1962), my paternal grandparents.  Laura received this photograph from her great-grandmother, Grace L. (Richmond) (Shaw) Moody (1876-1963), who was the older sister of Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver.

My thanks to cousin Laura for sending this picture, and many others, to me, and for permitting me to display them.
