I only recently began tracing my genealogy, picking up where my mother left off years ago. My 4th great grandfather is William Knapp 1775-1857. But that is one place I get stuck because much of the data I see online suggest that his parents were Shubel and Rebecca, the dates just don't work. I see youposted about this. Did you ever get past William?
Thanks,
Jim McNichol
Hi Jim,
Nope, I haven't a clue as to the parents of William Knapp (1775-1856). I am pretty sure that they weren't Shubel and Rebecca.
