Follow Friday - the Ancestry.com Blog

It's Follow Friday - time to highlight another genealogy blog or web site that I follow on a regular basis.

This week I chose the Ancestry.com blog at http://blogs.ancestry.com/ancestry/:

This blog has several authors - all employees of Ancestry.com. However, they blog about many of the Ancestry.com products - the searchable databases, Family Tree Maker, DNA, ExpertConnect, and more.

In the past year or so, this blog has become much more communicative as Ancestry.com has tried to increase their dialogue with readers and customers. It's not unusual for blog posts to have many comments from satisfied or disgruntled customers and readers, with a subsequent response from the Ancestry.com blogger. These comments often provide me with information or ideas that help me understand the Ancestry.com products.

If you are interested in new Ancestry.com content, in Ancestry.com search techniques, in Family Tree Maker capabilities, etc., then reading the Ancestry.com blog will help you stay on top of the Ancestry.com offerings.

Disclosure: I am not an Ancestry.com employee, contractor or affiliate, and have not been remunerated for this post. I am a fully paid subscriber with a US Deluxe subscription to Ancestry.com.
