Recently Added Databases on NEHGS AmericanAncestors.org

The latest issue of the New England Historic Genealogical Society's (NEHGS) American Ancestors magazine (Summer 2013) has an article on page 13 that lists new searchable databases on their website (www.AmericanAncestors.org).  NEHGS subscribers can download digital copies of the full run of the magazine, but Summer 2013 is not posted yet).

The new searchable databases include:

For many of the databases listed above, there are earlier volumes available.

Notes:
(1)  Already available on NEHGS (www.AmericanAncestors.org)
(2)  Available now on Ancestry.com (www.ancestry.com)

There is a note on page 27 that says:

"Currently, one of the databases described in this article is available online: Vermont vital Records, 1909-2008.  This database, which contains 2.9 million records of Vermont births, marriages, and death, is described more fully on page 30 of this article.

"In coming months, we will be adding an index to Massachusetts Deaths, 1907-2003 [1970-2003??]; additional years of the Vermont vital Records; Vital Records from New Hampshire; and Rhode Island census records for 1865-1935.  The remainder of the databases described here will follow."

All of that is encouraging - NEHGS continues to add databases on a monthly basis.  Apparently, the ones not on Ancestry.com to date will also be appearing there also.
