This week's Tuesday's Tip is:  Watch Family Tree Webinars to receive online genealogy education and instruction.

The Family Tree Webinars website (www.familytreewebinars.com) is owned by Legacy Family Tree, and the webinars are hosted by Geoff Rasmussen on Legacy Family Tree. Here is the home page:

There are two webinars scheduled this week (see right-hand box area):

*  "Documenting Native-American Families in 19th and 20th Century Records" by Angela Walton-Raji - on Wednesday, 25 June at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

*  Copyright Mythconceptions" by Judy G. Russell on Friday, 27 June at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

All live webinars are free, and are available for seven days after the live event for free.  You do have to register to view each webinar live by clicking on the "More Details and Registration" link on the screen above.  On the live webinar, there are usually polls and prizes to win, and a chat board to ask questions of the presenter.  The presentation is usually an hour in length with questions and answers afterward.

You can subscribe to Family Tree Webinars, for $49.95 per year, or $9.95 per month (subscribe at http://legacy.familytreewebinars.com/memberships-c11.php), to have on-demand access to all of the videos in the video archive.  You can watch them on your computer or mobile device.

This is an excellent and cost-effective way to see quality genealogy presentations given by world-class instructors from the comfort of your genealogy cave or family room in your pajamas and bunny slippers.  If you are unable to travel to multi-day conferences, or even all-day seminars in a local society, then these webinars may be your best opportunity to extend your genealogy knowledge.
