Saturday Night Genealogy Fun - Recent Ancestor Photographs

It's Saturday Night,
time for more Genealogy Fun!!

For this week's mission (should you decide to accept it), I challenge you to:

1)  Do you have photos of all of your ancestors back to the 1850 time frame?  Which recent ancestors do you not have a photograph of?

2)  Review your files, and list the ancestors for whom you want and/or need to find a photograph.  Also list where they resided and where they died.  Where would you look to find a photograph of them?

3)  Share your answers on your own blog post (and leave a comment here with a link), or on Facebook or other social media.

Here's mine:

I have decent photographs of my parents, four grandparents, and 7 of my first great-grandparents.  The exception is Frank Walton Seaver (1852-1922) for whom I have only a small photograph from a larger photograph.

For my 16 2nd great-grandparents, I have decent photographs of 7 of them.  I have small photographs from a larger photograph for several more of my 2nd great-grandparents.  I have no photographs whatsoever of:

*  Edward Hildreth (1831-1899) who resided and died in Leominster, Massachusetts.

*  Henry Arnold White (1824-1885) who resided and died in Killingly, Connecticut.
*  Amy Frances (Oatley) White (1826-1864) who resided and died in Killingly, Connecticut.

*  David Auble (1817-1894) who resided and died in Terre Haute, Indiana.
*  Sarah (Knapp) Auble (1818-1904) who resided in Terre Haute, Indiana and died in Bushnell, Illinois.

*  James Abraham Kemp (1831-1902) who resided in and died in Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario.
*  Mary Jane Sovereen) Kemp (1840-1874) who resided and died in Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario.

For the 32 third-great-grandparents, I have photos of only one of them - John Richman (1788-1867) of Hilperton, Wiltshire.

Where might I find photographs of my ancestors?  I thought of:

*  Family members - 2nd to 4th cousins who may have photographs of my ancestors in their photo albums.  This is one reason i'm doing descendancy research on my 4th great-grandparents.

*  In local and regional historical or genealogical societies - there may be photo collections or newspaper photos in vertical files of collected papers or local history books.

*  In county, state or regional archive manuscript collections donated by family members.

*  Thrift shops and antique shops in the places where they lived.

*  In online photograph collections (e.g., Google Images, Dead Fred, etc.)

Where else would you look?

I have been around and left comments on every one's posts. Randy I like your idea of finding photos at DeadFred and similar sites. I have not checked on Dead Fred for a long time. No one mentioned eBay. Sometimes they have the odd thing.
