A 1976 Four Generation Family Photo -- Post 581 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post!  I found some more family photos hiding in my voluminous My Pictures file folder - I don't think I've posted this one yet.

Here is another four generation photo from my files.  This is from early to mid 1976 in our living room in the house we presently reside.  I can tell from the red and yellow couch!

From the left of the photo are:

*  My father, Frederick W. Seaver (born 1911), seated with his eyes closed when Linda snapped the photo.
*  Me, Randall J. Seaver, shepherding my daughter at the coffee table.
*  My daughter, Lori Lee Seaver (born 1974) at the coffee table.
*  My grandmother, Emily (Auble) Carringer (born 1899), seated on the couch.
*  My grandfather, Lyle L. Carringer (born 1891), seated on the couch.
*  My mother, Betty (Carringer) Seaver (born 1919), kneeling by the coffee table.

Lori was 2 years old in May, so this may have been her birthday party.

Four generation photos are fun. I have one of me with my son, my mother and my grandmother and a second one that includes my first cousin with her daughter, her mom (my aunt) and our shared grandmother. Only one of my grandparents was still living by the time my son was born, so the picture is extra special.

Hi Randy, You wrote "This is from early to mid 1876 in our living room in the house we presently reside." I hope that date is a typo!

Hi Steve, I wondered who among my 2000 readers would actually catch that typing error. A gold star for you - are you still in China? I've been enjoying your travel posts.

I fixed it - my fingers don't always obey what my mind tells them to do these days. The unpaid editor missed it too!
