Randy and His Mother in Late 1943 -- Post 588 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post!  I found some more family photos hiding in my voluminous My Pictures file folder - This is one of my favorite photographs:

This is the earliest photograph I can find of me in all of my files.  I have a similar one with my father.  I think this photo was taken in late 1943, when I was a month or two old.  My mother, Betty (Carringer) Seaver was 24 years old at this time.  This may be a Christmas 1943 photo.

My guess is that this is in the back yard of my grandparents house at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego.  Our little family resided at 577 Twin Oaks in Chula Vista at this time, but we often visited with my mother's parents, Lyle and Emily (Auble) Carringer.  My guess is that my grandfather took this photograph.
