A Four Generation Maternal Line -- Post 598 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I  can't help it, I can't do a wordless post!  I found some more family photos hiding in Linda's family photo boxes.  This is one of my favorite photographs:

Our first daughter, Lori, was born  in May 1974.  When she was several months old, we visited Linda's family in San Francisco.  We too this photo in the summer of 1974.  It shows (left to right):

*  Linda (Leland) Seaver (at age 31), the proud mother

*  Edna (Schaffner) Leland (at age 60), the proud and happy grandmother.

*  Lori Seaver (at age 2-4 months), the darling baby

*  Edna (McKnew) Shaffner (at age 90), the proud and happy great-grandmother.

We lost Edna (McKnew) Schaffner in November 1974, and this is one of the only four generation female line we have in our photo collection.  

Linda has had this photograph on her bedroom dresser for 45 years now.

Several times a year when our children were growing up, Linda sent photographs to her parents and brother in San Francisco.  When her father died in 2002, her brother sorted out the photos and gave Linda the ones that were of our family and the ones interacting with them.  They were given to us in a big box of stuff back in 2006, and we finally looked at them last year!  I've started scanning them for use in these Wordless Wednesday posts.
