When Governor Josiah Bartlett was born on 21 November 1729, in Amesbury, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Deacon Stephen Bartlett, was 38 and his mother, Hannah Webster, was 37. He married Mary Bartlett on 15 January 1754, in Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 7 daughters. He registered for military service in 1777. In 1792, his occupation is listed as governor of New Hampshire. He died on 19 May 1795, in Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States, at the age of 65, and was buried in Plains Cemetery, Hampton Falls, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States.His Wikipedia entry is here.
