She married Gerald Edward Cline on 7 March 1953, in Frederick, Maryland, United States. In 1948, her occupation is listed as american country music singer/songwriter in Tennessee, United States. She died on 5 March 1963, in Camden, Benton, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 30, and was buried in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, Frederick, Virginia, United States.
