A Historic Milestone: 32 Billion Historical Records Now Available On MyHeritage

 I received this information today from Daniel Horowitz of MyHeritage:

=============================

I’m excited to share that we’ve completed the Names & Stories project, adding a remarkable 11.6 billion new records to MyHeritage! These records were extracted from historical newspapers spanning all 50 U.S. states, as well as Canada, Australia, and the U.K., and they’re now fully searchable on our platform. Thanks to this project, MyHeritage has now reached a total of 32 billion historical records — a milestone we’re proud to celebrate!

This massive addition includes names, dates, places, relationships, and life events extracted from obituaries, wedding announcements, and other articles. It brings family stories to life in ways that resonate deeply with researchers.

Disclosure: I receive a complimentary subscription to MyHeritage, and have received other material consideration in past years. I uploaded my autosomal DNA raw data to their DNA product. This does not affect my objective analysis of MyHeritage products. I am a paid subscriber to Family Tree Webinars and love it.
