(Not So) Wordless Wednesday - Post 282: CVGS Visit to San Diego FamilySearch Center

I'm posting family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they aren't Wordless Wednesday posts like others do - I am incapable of having a wordless post.
Here are some pictures from the Chula Vista Genealogical Society research trip to the San Diego FamilySearch Center in Mission Valley (4195 Camino del Rio South in San Diego) on 30 October 2013.

The FamilySearch Center is on the east side of the building on the ground floor:

The group of 12 were treated to a presentation about FamilySearch Family Tree by Dawna Jones, the FSC Director, in the newly remodeled learning center equipped with a presentation setup and about 20 Windows 8 computer stations:

Here are most of the CVGS attendees at their stations (plus two FSC helpers):

Dawna had the attendees register on FamilySearch.org and then enter their names and their parents names and information into the FamilySearch Family Tree.

The two hours went fast!  We also had a short tour of the refurbished FamilySearch Center and then headed back to Chula Vista for lunch at Marie Callenders (with pie, of course!).

The group is going to visit the FamilySearch Center in January to do some research in the books and films and on the computer systems.
