In this deed, Zachariah Hildreth and his wife Hannah sell an 8 acre tract of land in Townsend on Babary Hill to Milo Hildreth for $250 on 27 April 1847.

This is one of the tracts of land that Zachariah Hildreth sold to two sons and a son-in-law over the past ten years which was then bought back after a period of time.

Milo Hildreth is a son of Zachariah and Hannah Hildreth.  Milo Hildreth moved to Northborough, Massachusetts after his marriage in 1846 to Frances Hooker.

Zachariah Hildreth (1783-1857), who married Hannah Sawtell (1789-1857) in 1810, is my third great-grandfather.  I am descended from their son, Edward Hildreth (1831-1899) who married Sophia Newton  (1834-1923) in 1852.
