Treasure Chest Thursday - 1830 U.S. Census Record for Mulford Martin Household in Woodbridge, New Jersey

The treasure today is the 1830 United States Census record for the Mulford Martin household in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey:

The Mulford Martin entry is the 16th entry from the top of the page (with other Martin households nearby):

A Samuel Martin is two lines above Mulford, Hiram Martin is on the line below Mulford, and Merrit Mulford is below Hiram Mulford. All are aged 20 to 29 in 1830.  It is not known if those three are sons of Mulford Martin, but they may be.  

The  Mulford Martin family information from this record is:

*  1 male aged 15 to 19 (perhaps an unknown son or a grandson)
*  1 male aged 50 to 59 (certainly Mulford Martin, born ca 1763)

*  1 female aged 50 to 59 (certainly Betsey (Rolfe) Martin, born in 1766)

Mulford Martin (1763-1845) married Betsey Rolfe (1766-????) in about 1789, probably in Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey.  in Wantage, New Jersey.  They had four known sons and to known daughters.

Mulford and Betsey (Rolfe) Martin are my 5th great-grandparents, through their daughter Sarah Martin (1792-1860) who married  John Putman (1785-1863) about 1810 in Seneca County, New York.
