Treasure Chest Thursday - 1800 U.S. Census Record for Martin Carringer Household in Mercer County, Pennsylvania

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1800 United States Census record for the Martin Carringer household in Mercer County, Pennsylvania:

The Martin Carringer entry is near the bottom of the page (third line from the bottom):

The  Martin Carringer family information from this record is:

* Head of household:  Carringer Martin

*  2 males under age 10 years (probably sons Goerge, born in 1795, and Henry, born in 1800)
*  2 males aged 10 to 15 years (probably son Jacob, born in 1785)
*  1 male aged 16 to 26 years (perhaps a brother, or a hired man)
*  1 male aged over 45 years (certainly Martin, born in about 1758)

*  2 females under age 10 years (probably daughters Catherine, born 1792, and Calli, born 1797)
*  1 female aged 10 to 15 years (probably daughter Elisabeth, born in 1789)
*  1 female aged over 45 years (certainly wife Molly Carringer, although she was born in about 1768)
The source citation for this record is:

1800 United States Federal Census, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, no township stated, page 437, Martin Carringer household; digital image, Ancestry.com (http://www.ancestry.com : accessed 28 Aril 2015); citing National Archives Microfilm Publication M32, Roll 39.

Martin Carringer (about 1758-1835) married Maria Magdalena "Molly" Hoax (1768-1851) in 1785, and they had eight children between 1785 and 1805, with six born before the 1800 census.

Martin and Molly (Hoax) Carringer are my 4th great-grandparents, through their son Henry Carringer (1800-1879) who married Sarah Feather (1804-1848).
