Ancestry Offers Free U.S. Yearbook Collection Through 26 April

I received this notice from Ancestry.com this afternoon:

================================================
With over 450,000 yearbooks and more than 62 million pages, Ancestry offers the largest searchable yearbook collection. We are opening access to search our yearbook records for FREE, beginning now through Sunday, April 26 by visiting Ancestry.com/Yearbooks

So people can find their families’ and their own yearbook photos by searching the records HERE.

Once only found in dusty basements or attics, yearbooks are a great resource to see the faces of your family. Ancestry offers the largest searchable yearbook collection and includes books as recent as the 1990s. Yearbooks offer historical context and help pinpoint family members in a particular time and place.

See what grandpa looked like as a freshman in high school. Learn what activities, sports or clubs your grandmother loved, and have fun exploring fads and fashion of the time.

Disclosure:  I have a complimentary all-access subscription from Ancestry.com, for which I am thankful.  Ancestry.com has provided material considerations for travel expenses to meetings, and has hosted events and meals that I have attended in Salt Lake City, in past years.
