My Mixtiles Came in the Mail

I wrote about Mixtiles and the MyHeritage special offer in Use MyHeritage Family Photos To Make Stunning Wall Art with Mixtiles last Monday.

I made the order on Sunday night, they sent an email promising I would get them on Friday, and they arrived in the Thursday postal mail.  Here is a photo of the box:

When I opened the box there was a paper describing how to hang the Mixtiles on the wall without a hammer and a nail:

On the back of the Mixtile is a protective paper over the adhesive which you peel off - the adhesive is at the top of the photo.  The directions say to place the tile flat against the wall and press firmly.

Here is the top two Mixtiles still in the box after the paper above and the top tissue paper were removed.

Each pair of Mixtiles is separated from the others by tissue paper and a piece of cardboard.

I stood one up on the counter to show the protective paper and adhesive strip.  The photo is adhesively attached to the foam and the whole frame is about 3/4 inch thick:

The Mixtile can be moved many times, apparently.

When I arrange these Mixtiles on my bare wall, I will write another blog post about them.  Linda wants something similar for her family too.  I'm still looking for more pictures so we can send them as Christmas gifts.

Disclosure:  I receive a complimentary subscription to MyHeritage, and have received other material consideration in past years.  I uploaded my autosomal DNA raw data to their DNA product.  This does not affect my objective analysis of MyHeritage products.

Your photographs look great, Randy, and the Mixtiles sound so easy to use. I'll be interested to see how you arrange them. I saw Thomas MacEntee's post about his and just watched a decor video with Alexandra Gater showing them. Wonder how I could find some wall space...
