Bennett Freeman (1671-1716) is number 575 on my Ahnentafel List, my 7th great-grandmother, who married #574  John Paine (1661-1731)  in 1689  in Eastham, Barnstable County,  Massachusetts.

Information about Bennett Freeman's life family was obtained from the Mayflower Families book for Stephen Hopkinssketch for John Paine[1].  

Bennett Freeman was born 5 March 1671 in Eastham, Plymouth Colony[1-2,4], the eleventh and last child and fourth daughter of John and Mercy (Prence) Freeman of Eastham.

Bennett married John Paine (1661-1731) on 14 March 1689 in Eastham[1-2].  John was the son of Thomas and Mary (Snow) Paine of Eastham.  John and Bennet (Freeman) Paine had 13 children, all born in Eastham and recorded in the Eastham town records:

*  John Paine (1690-1771), married (1) 1743 Thankful Hopkins (1700-1753), and (2) 1754 Mercy Higgins (1697-1757).
*  Mary Paine (1693-1770), married 1712 Samuel freeman (1688-1751).

Bennett (Freeman) Paine died on 30 May 1716 at age 45 in Eastham, Massachusetts Bay[3].  She is buried in Orleans Cemetery in East Orleans, Massachusetts[4].
