A New Genie in My Cave -- Post 675 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

My 11-year-old Dell Inspiron "Methuselah" is gradually becoming unusable, so rather than wait for a complete failure I invested in a July 4th special at Costco on Tuesday.  I spent some of the day setting it up and software, but will wait until it is hooked to the cable modem to transfer about 140,000 files (mostly photos and genealogy) from iDrive.  I hope to do that on Wednesday and Thursday.  I will set up the old computer on a table to try to capture more files via wifi to a flash drive or Dropbox.

I am not very impressed with the "how to set it up" documentation provided by Dell.  I finally found the keyboard on switch after calling Dell tech support.

What should I call this computer?   Maybe Genie, eh?  Suggestions?

Well, Della comes to mind. But then, I call the nav system in my car CARla (or CARlos for the male voice).

I would wait until you use your new computer for a while, you might change the name from a sweet "Della" to something else. My computer started out as Samantha but now is known as Blankity Blank &^%#!
