It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1710 marriage entry for Thomas Graves and Ruth Collins in the Lynn, Massachusetts town vital records book:
The marriage entry is in the list under the "Graves" surname:

The transcription of this record is:

Thomas Graves (1686-1756) was the son of Samuel and Sarah (Brewer) Graves of Lynn, Massachusetts Bay.  He married (1) Ruth Collins (1685-1715) on 9 January 1710 in Lynn.  Ruth Collins was the daughter of Joseph and Mariah (Smith) Collins of Lynn. Thomas and Ruth (Collins) Graves are my 7th great-grandparents through their daughter Ruth Graves (1710-????) who married Isaac Buck (1706-1780) in 1729 in Reading, Massachusetts Bay.
