Chester James Richmond (1908-1985) was born 20 November 1908 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Edgar Valentine and Anna Cornelia (Brink) Richmond.  He died 24 May 1985 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He married Martha Amelia Backiel (1911-2008) before 1934 in Connecticut.  She was born 18 December 1911 in Fairfield, Connecticut and died on 12 January 2008 in Darien, Connecticut.  They had two children Chester James Richmond (1934-2010) and Bruce Edgar Richmond (1938-2022).

Chester James Richmond is my second cousin once removed.  Our common ancestors are my second great-grandparents James and Hannah (Rich) Richmond.
