Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1676/7 Birth of Deborah Church in Hingham, Massachusetts

It's time to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings for Treasure Chest Thursday.

The treasure today is the 1676/7 birth record of  Deborah Church in Hingham, Massachusetts Bay Colony:

The birth record is on the right-hand page 3rd record from the bottom:

The transcription of this birth record is:

"Deborah Church the Daughter of Joseph Church and of
Mary his wife was born on the 12 day of March 1676/7."

The source citation for this record is:

"Massachusetts, U.S., Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988," indexed database and digital images, Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com : accessed 1 February 2023), "Hingham > Births, Marriages, and Deaths," page 39, image 2419 of 3625, Deborah Church birth entry, 12 March 1676/7, daughter of Joseph and Mary Church.

This record is probably an Original Source, with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of  a and Deborah Church to Joseph and Mary Church.

Deborah Church (1677-1752) as the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Tucker) Church.  She married, firstly,  Samuel Gray (1681-1712), the son of Edward and Dorothy (Lettice) Gray, on 13 July 1699 in Little Compton, Rhode Island.  They had 7 children.  Deborah (Church) Gray married, secondly, Daniel Throope (1670-1737) on 21 January 1713 in Little Compton.  They had three children.

Samuel and Deborah (Church) Gray are my 7th great-grandparents.  I am descended through their daughter Lydia Gray (1707-????), who married in 1731 to Joseph Ladd (1702-1748).
